Did you mean to say positive, Mikey?

On my monitor, the front wheel does not look further out at the bottom (negative).

A reminder for Monday; Please ensure anyone driving must bring their drivers licence and sign on as a driver (not just the owner of the entered car). Also owners, please bring a tenner for the photographer. Final reminder on insurance, please be sure you have cover,,,,we are all respectful and behave out there, but!

Looks like we might have a shower this time out, it'll not spoil the fun just make it that bit more of an experience. driving

Watch out for the new Tarmac if it does rain. Through the gooseneck and Mansfield is really slippy.

MSV operate the circuit. The Track Day itself is a private event being run by the Circuit operators and supervised by S & A grade ARDS instructors.

Well, much work on the 289 Cobra has finally traced the poor running issue.
We now look like the last details can be sorted tomorrow and then off to cadwell.

I kind of forgot to ask the noise limit for this event. I know the old Cob' is a bit raucous nowadays but I do have a set of extra cans that can be fitted.

Well there is some chance I guess. I was last out on track at Donnington with the car and the session I was in was black flagged for noise. I was one of the culprits. Silly really as there is an airport next door.

My old track, cans slip onto the back anyway. They just look daft and dent the performance somewhat.

Watching the Graham Hill documentary and just seen his F1 winning car going round Cadwell, bring it on driving
Are we able to do it without using the brakes smile
Possibly, but you will be going very slow..... Obviously Lotto will be fine biggrin.

Mansfield is a big downhill braking area that will cook your CCM's nicely yes
hope its dry for you all then....laugh
At the risk of being told to go and teach my grandma to suck eggs, I should warn you of the possibility of your brake fluid boiling if you become very enthusiastic. The cars are after all relatively heavy and the circuit is tight and punishing.
Last track day I went on there two cars lost their brakes due to boiling.
Change the fluid if you have time and for racing fluid ideally as brake fluid is hygroscopic

I appreciate your sentiment but your advice comes less than 48 hours before the track day. When 24 of those hours is a Sunday.

If somebody hasn't changed their brake fluid by now, I suspect that it is too late to do it now. And I personally wouldn't be linking to any Kwik-st site.
