A big thanks to Bob and all of the folk who helped to organise this event.

I really enjoyed learning the track and had great fun.

Thanks also for allowing the Cobra interloper to squeeze into the mix. It was good to get the old girl used in anger.

Looking forward to the pictures also as the photographer was often spied in some good spots.

Andy.

Thankyou again for organising a lovely day and at a fantastic location...nice to see 'old' and new faces (to me anyway) again...not to mention the great weather you organised and the Dakota flypast (?).

Vesuvius on video is being uploaded as I type.

Thanks again Bob.

The sun shone down on us yet again,,,,now wasn't that an experience,,,a narrow track yes, undulating yes, with a shed load of testing bends, staying focused absolutley essential, getting the right line over the 'blind' mountain crest was to say the least 'challenging'.

Guys I can't thank you enough for helping make the day so memorable, what a great bunch of blokes, if I mention one I would have to mention you all, thank you, thank you, thank you. I hope you all enjoyed the Dakota fly past, Ed set the standard there. smile

PS: photos I hope will follow from Johns web site tomorrow.

Hi guys,

Here's a link to my photos from today, the album is public so you should all be able to see it. I'll upload them to flickr tomorrow for anybody who wants the full res photos. If I missed anybody just tell me what car you have and the reg and I'll see if I can find some for you as this is just a small selection of what I took.
I'm no professional just a hobby of mine, hope you like. :-)

Well. Jel.

Looks like a great day and some fantastic pics.

@Will, your car just looks mega. Didn't realise you now have the V12V wheels.

Who was in the Vanq II?

Glad you've signed up for the Highland Hoon biggrin
Picked up the V12V wheels last summer for use as track wheels (keep my track tyres on the V12V wheels to save the road tyres on the HRE's). Had the V12V's refurbished at Pristine Wheels in Shadow Chrome, I like that they don't looks so white/silvery in colour, understatedsmile. You missed a brilliant outing at Cadwell buddy!!

Bloody hell Mike, that's fabulous....looks incredibly narrow with wonderful elevation changes. Sooooo gutted I couldn't come. Another epic event organised by Bob, well done chum!
