Evolution Tour - Edinburgh
Discussion
Hi Scott, how're you fecklin?
To answer your question, I probably won't be going. I test drove a Tesla last week (I was doing some work for them and they threw me a set of keys) and although new, fun and full of hi-tech, they're not yet evolved enough for me to be interested enough to travel to a show like this one. I like to keep up to date with what's going on but I'm waiting for seriously sporty versions.
If I hadn't driven one and lived as close as you do, I'd definitely go for the experience. The more powerful Tesla S has huge torque from standstill and is disconcertingly quiet. Other than that, it's pretty bland inside and out IMO, so there's definitely a huge market for it! I'm told they sold 800 in the first 3 months in the UK. Electric is going to be huge.
