Happy days, this morning went to check how the new charger / conditioner was doing its job and here is the result.

Charged and ready to go. Car locks and unlocks fine with glass key.

I will leave it for the rest of the day to complete the full cycle. It's stage 7 of 8 just now.

I will start the car up over the weekend and give it a run to check all systems and memories etc.

So far, it looks like the cost of the CTEK charger is a good investment compared to cost and workshop time of new battery.

Splendid news. Wish my battery had come up when I tried the same. Luckily I already had a charger so no money lost there. The new battery did also seem to give more oomph at start up!
