Hi all. I went to see a V12V today and wondered of all the front lights fog up? When asked, I had the 'they all do that sir' response. Is this the case?

And in this case, they are right, "they all do that sir" is the correct reply.

it doesn't take too long to clear when you are using the car, if the lights are on, it clears even quicker biglaugh

I drove the one at Aston hagley. Quantum Silver, lightweights, 10k miles. It's up for £83k which I guess seems like a decent price. I drove better than I expected. Not as tied down and nimble as my old GT3 but definitely has more of a sense of occasion. Ergonomics are are little odd- gear box seems set too far back but I'm sure I'll get used to that. Needs a little more noise which can easily be sorted. Must admit, I'm very tempted....

I think they've had that one a while. If you really want it, there is always room for negotiation and you will get a 1 year AM warranty wink

That's the light weight seats stopping your shoulder moving back far enough to easily engage the even gears frown
One of the reasons I passed on V12VR's with light weights

Anyone know of any reason why this hasn't sold yet? Desirable colour and spec with low miles. 2 owners. Anything I should be aware of? Thanks guys.

It has not been around that long really , end of october when it was up for £87400. Price only reduced a couple of weeks ago so not bad imo.

Is that true - isn't moisture ingress one of the reasons the LED sidelight PCB fails.

Quite possibly but proving that to AM is a tough ask!

Of course crazy that indeed most modern AMs have this problem.....

On the V8/V12 Vantage there is a mod though (ask your dealer, they did this at my V8V and it was much better). Had to do with more air/holes on the inside of the lamp unit?

On the DB9/DBS/.... platform it is more difficult: no mod afaik, but a workaround: once every year they put in some small moisture attracting "bags", not visible from the outside, and that works also.
