Rear is even better than the front IMO.

Seriously, a cracking Vantage replacement coming, if that's what it hints at.

Couldn't even speculate what's under the skin. That's to come...

Hats off to the Aston team that pulled this off. Great job.

I wonder where it's going to be used in the film - location wise. I know Land Rover have supplied a number of Sports which are being kitted out for winter/snow conditions. Maybe this will be another invisible Aston with retractable spikes in the tyres or have skis which pop out of the sills. biggrin

The 9 LR cars that had been supplied and kitted out were stolen a couple of days ago. Filming will be delayed while JLR send new ones over.

That is interesting information that you have. How much are you selling them for? wink

I thought it was a bench for when he gets a bit tired from all the running around. That diffuser is ugly!
I take back what I said about less overt splitters now. That rear diffuser really is dreadful! Why bother creating all those beautiful lines in the rest of the body and then shove a great big square slab of carbon fibre on the back?

Agree - didn't like the Vanquish when I first saw the pictures, but they are stunning in the flesh. This even look the mutts nuts in the pictures. Think the wheels are too big though.

It does look stunning but very similar to me to the F Type Coupe at the back. Agree the wheel look far too large. It always amuses me that the modern grand is that whatever concept car a manufacturer shows they are now putting these oversized wheels on which makes the end result look a bit weak in comparison. Probably nowhere near signing off what the final designs/size will be but doubt they will be anywhere near the size on the concept.

Hilarious. Now go on tell us a Chalky 'joke' too - you know like we had on the TV from Jim Davidson in the 80's.

Better look at the front end.

First thought: Dogfish! Glad to see the hint at the traditional AM grille though.

Generally I believe most AM owners are more comfortable with an evolution in design rather than a revolution.
However I feel that the time may have come for AM to have come up with a more striking design,a revolution similar to that in the 1970's when the DBS/Vantage replaced the DB6,than this which is an evoution and in my opinion not as attractive as the model it replaces.
If AM felt it necessary to tweak the current design I feel the One77 features should have been incorporated.
For me the design is weak the head and tail lights are unattractive and the rear just not balanced.

Dearest Michael, if I have touched a nerve I apologise,in recompense I have told my Ladyboys to give you 10% discount off your weekly " special " massage.
In no way was I suggesting you were insolvent as I know that you often take advantage of your dear wife's inheritance. smile

Nothing to do with the look of the car, but I find it hard to believe that A M directors have been stupid enough to allow their iconic DB designation to be used for a non production car. Especially as it is just to gain immediate publicity for a film that, however good or bad it is, will soon afterwards be forgotten! I am sure David Brown will be turning in his grave! Most "household name" companies vigorously protect their Trade Marks so as not to dilute their importance and exclusiveness. Whatever could AM be thinking of when they gave their go ahead for this?

I kind of get it, DB10, only 10 being made. Celebratory move in to double digits for the DB brand. Without stating the obvious these will be extremely collectable, as a Bond car that never went on sale. Hopefully there will be one at Gaydon when I go on my factory tour in January.

Personally, I don't see why Bond didn't stick with this far more practical car. wink I still remember the shock in the cinema when this scene cam on. A low point for the sellout franchise!

This is what AM shouod be about.......

Don’t know if anyone has noticed this.....

but the One-77 does not have a boot for dumping beaten-up baddies and carrying attaché cases with sovereigns and snap-down sniper rifles. Thus, completely useless for Bond and frankly too costly in terms of my over-subscribed tax-pounds going to MI6.

The DB10 on the other hand does have a useful boot for the above but no bonnet apparently to check the engine over and re-stock the missile bay.

Oh Gawd!! Just a thought….. I hope the DB is not one of those electric jobbies that travel around on Scalextric-monorails things…….it may just turn out to be another faux-emissions dodging city carriage.

Re-bodied Vantage. Not a bad effort. 7/10

I think it's stunning.

I may have dribbled some sex-wee when the pictures started to appear.
