Well into ownership of the DBS now. Had a chance to drive it quite a bit and one thing is disappointing me. That's the engine roar. It actually sounds like a very angry bee rather than a deep V12 roar I was expecting. In fact I'd go so far to say my SP10 V8 sounded better!!
Is this normal? Do other DBS owners feel their's sound any different?

I'd say a decat is required. Talk to Nick, Lotto, or Tony Hall, they've all had it done. They'll give you a feel for the noise, but it'll never sound like a V8!!

It's definitely too quiet.

Change either the backbox or install de-cat pipes.
