Had a few restless months but this is the start of a new chapter.

After 2 years of ownership I had sold my car and had held a deposit but when the pivotal moment occurred I simply could not sell.

I am retiring next week and have realised that i will have more time to spend just driving......sad but thats life biglaugh

Anyway, a new start so i have a new name and am posting probably the first photos of my car.

This is one quite special car.

Stunning as ever! I imagine the potential buyer was very upset! Words said or was he (or she) understanding?!

I feel most upset!!! If I give someone £10 to secure a car I don't expect my money to be returned and the sale declared off.

Good we are planning a run over to Durham to Aston Works between Xmas and New Year if you are up for it. Hoping to have a look round and a spot of lunch.

Might have to tag along as a passenger if there is room?

Put my plate on retention and then when asked insurance company to change their records they said they cannot accommodate. I have had to cancel the insurance and take out a new policy with the new reg number assigned. I have sent papers off to reassign my original plate and now have to wait to get the docs back to go through the whole process again. I don't want to waste money in having plates made for a week or so which means i may be off the road until new year?

I have never had this before when changing number plates banghead

Never mind, its Christmas xmas

Darren, you'll be coming past me, so let me know what you're planning and maybe I can intercept you on your way down the M1. Be good to meet up. In fact AMDBSNick and I were only saying today that a mid xmas break hoon might be in order. We were in the pub though!
