Is that a white Cygnet in the second picture?
Sorry, tis the paupers IQ Well I own a paupers Cygnet
Until you have experienced an IQ I don't think anyone would understand how good they are.
You can park them anywhere, they are so manoeuvrable and best of all you can drive like a wally as thats whats expected
Would swap for a Cygnet if the price was right but until then.......
I seem to recall loonr1 the insurance guy saying its the car thats insured not the number plate. Ie you could insure on your private plate, fix private plate to car, and drive car. Or ask them to insure on your vin, as people do when importing a car and driving from docks. Since you have insured your car you can't get done for no insurance. Add that to the miniscule chance you have of being pulled over anyway, and I say just insure and drive it!

What on earth is that gem intended for? AMDBSTony said:
Might have to tag along as a passenger if there is room?
Put my plate on retention and then when asked insurance company to change their records they said they cannot accommodate. I have had to cancel the insurance and take out a new policy with the new reg number assigned. I have sent papers off to reassign my original plate and now have to wait to get the docs back to go through the whole process again. I don't want to waste money in having plates made for a week or so which means i may be off the road until new year?
I have never had this before when changing number plates
Never mind, its Christmas

its the same car regardless of the plate. If he insures it (on whichever plate) it will be legal to drive.

I dont think thats strictly correct. its the same car regardless of the plate. If he insures it (on whichever plate) it will be legal to drive.
My current situation would be the same as if you just put a random registration on your car which is illegal. The first ANPR camera you passed would trigger and that would not be so good.
Not to worry though, all docs submitted and insurance changed so will be back on the road soon.
