Letter arrived as well.

Next service is not for a while yet so I can see a nice road trip to get this sorted. Always a silver lining <grin>.

Following the early Pistonheads alert on this I e-mailed my contracted service provider (Grange at Welwyn) to ask if this was urgent as I use the car in winter ands its nice to have the heated seat on now and again. Having read the alert I was worried every time I used the heater, so I hoped they would say bring anytime that I fancied a nice drive out. I dont know whether they weren't bothered or what but didn't get a reply. Sent the same query to Works and within hours I had a note back saying its not urgent but given it takes less than an hour to change If I wanted to pop down and have a coffee they would do it whilst I waited. Its now done. If its any comfort Works said they had completed this work on lots of cars and not found one that looked faulty. - PS still waiting for the Grange Welwyn response.

I've not received the letter yet.
Having said that, I had a courtesy call from my dealership the other day.
Never mentioned anything to them - they asked me how things were going, that my next service is due soon and that at the same time they would do the heated seat recall.
At least H R Owen Cheltenham are on the ball.
