Interior really doesn't suit that exterior, but then, not sure what would suit that interior. On a slight separate note, having looked at a few Vanquishes, DBS (whilst undoubtedly a beautiful car in its own right) simply isn't looking as good any more.

I think DBS looks better than the new Vanquish. V12 Vantage looks even better I think.

I agree, the only place I'd go from my V12V is to a DBS or Vanq 2.2. The DBS is stunning.

Thanks smile

I'm tempted by that DBS but shall refrain. I'd have to swap the seats out..... don't think I could live without the light weights and it is a little too red even for me smile

That is undoubtedly a beautiful car. Next to each other, the vanq2 makes the dbs look It's age. A vanq2 in the flesh is stunning beyond belief. All IMHO but compared a few now and it's gotta be Vanq for me.

A DBS Volante was sold last year in Mako with sandstorm,I was very tempted,it certainly looked very good in the pics.
Regarding the Vanquish, the prices of the coupe are now circa £140K,not that much more than a DBS Ultimate so financially its a close call.

I think once the initial criticism of the vanq2 has blown over (some didn't like the look, others commented on it not being a brand new aston etc), people will start to recognise it for what it is - a stupendously beautiful, top-end, aston martin GT - which is what the DBS is/was. Again, no question that the DBS is beautiful, just that the Vanq2 adds a fresh look to some already gorgeous lines.

My spade is quite big enough thank you, and comes with a pneumatic attachment, observe....If you haven't already, look at a DBS and Vanq2, in the flesh, next to each other.

I get where SlartiF430 is coming from. Having just picked up my DBS, I absolutely love it. It's the Aston I have wanted for a good few years and I was fortunate to have been in a position recently to be able to buy one. It is still a stunningly beautiful car, without any doubt and I would not swap it for anything...for quite a while.

However, the Vanquish is a also a stunningly beautiful car that has really grown on me in the last few months in particular. From certain angles it is equally if not more stunning to look at than the DBS. I really like the ski slope layout too. I'm guessing there will be a time, perhaps in a few years, when my DBS will be around the same price as a Vanquish...it will be difficult not to make that jump.

Sadly the Vanquish is missing a vital component, lovely car for the Mrs though biggrin

Seeing the link with the Gulf colours, that explains the colour combination.

Maybe it would have been better to leave the Gulf livery on it!
