CD Changer Replacement 2005 DB9

Hi,

I have the common problem of CD error on the the Volvo CD-CP1 6 CD changer (1 connector on rear). Is it possible to replace the 6 CD Changer for a Volvo Single CD in dash Changer as I'm struggling to find a cost effective 6 CD replacement?

I am getting the Dension 500 gateway installed next week but have been advised that the bluetooth module is not compatible, is this correct as the Dension website states it is

I got a new internal changer and it requires no recoding just physical removal and replacement. A bit fiddly but if you know someone with small hands who is willing to help that would be useful. To be honest you just need it supplied and can fit it into the interface frame yourself. I sent mine off with a view to getting it repaired but a replacement was required.

As for Denison I thought it just pretended to be a cd changer so don't know why it won't work. I am sure someone with it fitted will be along shortly.

Informative, I did buy a replacement 6 CD changer but unfortunately I bought the one with 3 connectors instead of 1 and by the time i got round to fitting it it was too late to return.

I will chance a single unit replacement along with the Dension as the radio reception us really poor.
