25,000 miles in 10 years? Possible of course but is it a bit unlikely? Just make sure it has loads of history to corroborate that.
That's the last thing I'd be concerned about (not that I see anything concerning other than the respray, the styling of the rear and all the mods), that kind of mileage is very likely. I'd just question how hard those miles have been driven.I am sure that particular car is owned by a PH on here and I think the owners family own David Appleby Engineering (AM Independent Specialist)

See the bottom of this page for photos of said car
PS - I have no connections to either
25K miles in 10 years is not unusual for Astons, my car had done 10K in 5 years under the first owner from new

Well one of those would have a paper trail if genuine and the other one I'd venture will be more difficult to judge! I suggested that point as there is no mention of service history in the ad and FAMSH is usually top of the tree...and of course ECU things can be re-coded...It could well be a little cracker though if its an Appleby special... Pics are rather random though!

The reason I am aware of this particular car is that I have done the same V8 Vantage S bumper upgrade and referred to the above post when researching my upgrade

Cheers for the replys guys. I've spoken to Appleby's about the car who were extremely helpful with their info. I've spoken to the owner and it's had a deposit placed on it for the full asking price. So essentially it's sold baring any disasters. My hunt continues!
He's been trying to sell it for a couple of years (at least). It used to be listed on the DAE website for £40k. ISTR that the mileage was nearer to 100k, than 25k. Maybe it's just 25k on the current engine. And it's just sold? What a coincidence...

You guys think better to buy a standard car then that's not been modified?
Yes, I think most used demand is for standard cars.
I have noticed from this forum, that owners who enjoy modifying their cars, often remove the modifications before sale.
There are obviously exceptions. I remember one considerably modified car, that is now with a very happy new owner.
That car had a dead engine at 100k.
From another website...
Bit of back ground info...My Dad and I own Generation AMR which is the Official Aston Martin Racing Junior Team, so when he was offered this road car it had done pretty high mileage (100k miles +) and had some bodywork damage. So over the last few months we've gone through the car to 'rebuild' it including:
New Engine
New Brake calipers, discs & brake lines. (Fitted competition pads and brake fluid we run on the Race GT4 Aston Martin's)
New dampers
New Seats, Gear knob & Steering wheel
Completely resprayed from Grey to White
Carbon side blades and rear boot lip
GT4 Race Exhaust system
N400 Side Skirts
Clear Rear Lights
It was then sold on after two years to a guy who was selling it in the OP's link.....
