Aston Martin Reading (Pangbourne) - full throttle
Discussion
I was kindly invited to attend the official opening of Aston Martin Reading last night - HR Owen and the dealership is in Pangbourne. Just thought that I would say that the hospitality, team ethos, new workshops et al, all seemed absolutely excellent. In this day and age I think it's great to see an AM dealership opening up! Technically I know there was a dealership in Reading... but it could have been a story of closure with nothing to replace it!
Good luck to the team there and thank you for the invite... It was also great to see a lot of customer cars turn up! I am of course ashamed that I took the Merc and not my P&J.

Pleased to report I've just bought a brand new V12S vantage roadster in volcano red from Aston Pangbourne. (To replace my 6 month old V12S roadster, don't ask!!) A great team of guys there, very down to earth and a pleasure to do business with. Worth a trip to visit them, even if it's just to take the kids there to look at their cars.

I bought a ceramic grey V12S Roadster in October, and just happened to be passing Aston Pangbourne and saw the volcano red one they had. It looked fantastic, great set of options and colours. 30 mins later s deal was done to trade in the Gray car for very little money. So I'm chuffed to be picking it up next week! Maff said:

Bravo - I saw it outside the dealership on the opening weekend, winning choice!I am sure a couple of you on here will have taken part in the HR Owen 'driving without limits day lat Thursday at Millbrook and I thought I would just add to my original post by saying what a great day they put together. I was fortunate enough to spend an hour with one of the factory drivers showing me the ins and outs of the Vantage V12S... I say fortunate but as you all know, I have now committed the sin of driving the V12. It's a superb car and now I want one!!! It's certainly not quite the fire breathing monster I had expected (though it can be!) and it's actually much more than that - perhaps the biggest surprise was the apparent lightness of the steering (in a positive way) brought about in part by the ceramic breaks. Anyway, I won't re-run a review but just wanted to say a thanks to the team at Aston Martin Reading for a great day and some excellent hosting.
Just to say thanks for all the great feedback from all at HR Owen. Posted a few pics of the Millbrook track day and a full list of the cars we had on track at http://news.hrowen.co.uk/millbrook-drive-day-focus...
