How did you guys wire the Rockford sub in? Did you use both sets of wires that currently go to the standard dual coil or just one?

I did both.
As in doubled up the positives and negatives?

Did you wire up at as 2ohm or 4ohm

Sorry for all the questions ... I tried putting it in at the weekend but just getting a lot of distortion.

I wired in with the two positive wires and negative wires doubled up, link cables to the other connections as per the 2 ohm wiring diagram but obviously done something wrong.

IIRC there were 4 ports, I didn't double them up? Have you got a picture of the back, that will probably jog my memory.

If I remember correctly, if you get the correct version of the sub, then the wiring should be exactly the same as currently is.

This is the sub I ordered:

I just wanted to thank Vinnie83 for the subwoofer Amazon link. I had tried to find the Tarantula speaker in the US but could not be sure I had the exact match, but I used the Amazon link to purchase the Rockford Fosgate subwoofer as it is not too deep to replace the Linn that died and would cost over $2000 to replace - and the sound was never good 😃 All the comments were really helpful so thank you, guys!
