Sorry I had to miss out on your run Mikey but I had another engagement to attend. On the plus side though, I stumbled across the B5055 from Leak to Bakewell on my way to Chesterfield, largely traffic free and fantastic fun.
There's some great roads around there might have to sort a run out in that area!

Great, as long as we don't have to go up mountain sides without barriers :-)

These were the leaders of the pack - I, of course, had no problem keeping up with them whistle

Ah, the Power of Dreams :-) A splash of much needed colour (not including Adam's wonderful Hardly Green roadster).

What we learned from this weekend:

1. Jockman doesn't do corners

2. Jockman DEFINATELY does do straights- I'll tell you when I see you wink

3. Driving 'gently' does have its benefits - we both filled up together at the start and end of the run, the blue ones DBS used 49 litres my V12V 60 litres ( or maybe I've got a hole in my tank)

4. Some hats hat wearers are more stylish than othersyes

5. His car 'scratches' really easily

As has been said cracking day, great organisation and thumbup to all invloved.

Seemon is the new Rob......highly inappropriate overtaking manoeuvres yes

Just imagine you see a gap to get through in your V12V. Halfway through the overtaking you remember you've sold your V12V and you're now in a 2 litre Honda. Then the smell hits you...... hehe

Looks a good run out. Loving the S2000's as well, superb cars and 9000rpm is a good laugh!

Oh, and yes, that is my gorgeous Quantum Silver one at the front biggrin

Fair point. If you don't remember to be at or around 6K RPM when starting an overtake then you do run the risk of running out of road! Had I know that we were actually at the entrance to the lunch venue then I wouldn't have attempted it. Near death experiences do make you appreciate life all the more I feel smile
