Last TVRCC one was last September (cue gratuitous picture) and next one is 8th May but I can't do that 'cos I'm driving a steam train that weekend! End Sept is a good time as it's just after the Revival so that'll be good. I'll see if I can do it - as long as you don't mind an interloper - it is Aston MArtin Pentland Green laugh

I would be up for Spa Bob, also prepared to pay appropriate for one of the best tracks in the World. Drove it last summer with AML On-Track, Shopshire Aston, Pete675 and some others attended - simply EPIC
This was Pete675:

If you really might be interested in "heritage" cars taking part (since when was a 2006 DB9 a heritage car??), does the circuit require seat belts? They've never been fitted in my rotbox. On the other hand it could be fun to bring my Rapide, which does have seat belts

Hi,

A contact down that way has suggested the following as options for you to try:

The Dean Ale and Cider ... They have parking and rooms..

The other alternative is Crouchers Hotel which has a decent car park ..

Can't vouch for them personally, but I'm sure they would welcome a call and would be helpful.

Cheers

With your factory connections Mr. roughrider, are you able to tell us, why there will be no AM On-Track events this year. I was hoping to drive the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.

Possibly the reason might be spelt - 'm o n e y'.
I wish i knew, as i've been asked quite a few times now. I don't think its a financial issue, as i believe the track days paid for themselves. Seems Bob is doing an admirable job of filling the void though! How about Spa next year Bob? Track hire is less than you would expect.........
SPA = EPIC. Did I mention I have been to SPA whistle

Anyone know of any Aston-friendly hotels in the area (i.e. secure parking with very wide spaces (got to avoid getting the doors marked)!).
Villages of Petworth and Midhurst are a short drive away. Might be worth a look on tinternet. Also hotel called Inglenook. Well rated on TripAdvisor but no personal experience.

As I explained on Sunday, Bob, unfortunately I can't make the Goodwood date due to work.

However, I'll still be looking out for the next date, if I'd be welcome back. wink
