Still over priced!
Agreed! JCT600 have another Yellow Tang V12VS in stock now, a 2014 model with only 2700 miles at £28k less - albeit that it doesn't have the "history" that the above car has (which quite frankly is a positive thing!)http://www.jct600.co.uk/dealerships/Aston_Martin_L...

How many of us though, would want to own a yellow Aston Martin?
The understated aspect still seems to have appeal for most buyers.
As someone whom owns a yellow Aston i feel qualified to answer that question. The understated aspect still seems to have appeal for most buyers.
Simply put, people who don't want to drive around in dreary raincloud coloured cars. From my perspective driving around in an Aston should be something that puts a smile on your own and others faces, harder to do that when an 'understated' car merges with the background traffic of soul-less German metal.
I for one would buy a yellow tang V12VS.
I hear what you are saying about the majority of buyers wanting an understated colour, but then the V12VS doesn't appeal to the majority of Aston buyers. I wouldn't buy a yellow DB9, but a yellow V12VS is an entirely different prospect! It looks stunning in the flesh - I saw the one in JCT only yesterday!

I'd buy a Tang yellow no so sure on any other yellow though!I hear what you are saying about the majority of buyers wanting an understated colour, but then the V12VS doesn't appeal to the majority of Aston buyers. I enjoyed your very articulate wording. -
Yes, I have to admit owning a 'dreary raincloud' (a clever description) coloured car. The secret might be having a 'lighter shade of dreary', and a bright finish grille. It does not seem to limit attention though. Perhaps too much on occasions.

Holy thread resurrection!!
Came across this old thread and thought I could add a bit to it...
So this car that was for sale at JCT, turns out it was the car I was looking to buy last year from Dealer in Essex via my local dealer... unfortunately the day before I was going to see it, it was involved in an incident and was written off so I ended up getting mine from AM Newcastle.
This car has never been LHD. It was owned by Aston Martin for the first 11 months of its life, accumulating some 36.5k miles. As previously mentioned it was used for publicity and appears in a number of press publications and videos. The confusion of having been LHD is because KX62FCA was a LHD prototype, looks outwardly identical, and was also used for publicity. As it is a development car, it will never get sold by AM. According to DVLA website, KX62FCA is still registered and exists in some form at AM.
JCT sold 3 Yellow Tang V12 S’s, the ex press car in May 2014, mine in March 2014 and another in June 2014.
