Is it for LeMans? Ordered high "something" today as the normal car carriages are a wheel killer .

Hi Phil

Definitely high car. Seems a little odd, when you are lower than most other cars, but Eurotunnel do expect sports/low vehicles to use the high car option:

And high car prices are cheaper than high van prices...
Enjoy your trip!

I use it quite a lot, have always booked normally, and they always put you in with the coaches and lorries in the wide section when they see the car.

have never booked myself, you just pass through the controls and then instead of driving into the car lane you drive into the high vehicle lane and end up in that one

Several years ago I damaged my wheels using the low vehicle loading. Spoke to Euro Tunnel Customer
Services about the problem, they advised me to book with a roof rack (bearing in mind I have a V8VR} and board using the high vehicle lane. The rational being, you are guaranteed a place in the high vehicle carriage. Since then I have booked (at least twice a year) this way for the last 5 years with no problems.
