Morning guys

I've had a dig around the forum but couldn't put my finger on a solid recommendation.

Tyreleader seem to be pretty competitive and I've got fond memories of GY Eagle F1's from my GTI days

http://www.tyreleader.co.uk/car-tyres-285-35-19-0-...

A local garage has quoted me £196ea for the OEM Bridgestone's, however I'm always interested to hear other people's opinions/recommendations.

Thanks in advance

James

I haven't made the switch yet but a lot of people are raving about Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Apparently improved grip and comfort over OEM Bridgestones.

G'Day,

I am on a new set of Potenzas RE05 AM and happy, but I read so much how brilliant the Michelin Pilot Super Sports are, so these will be my next ones.

Cheers

My 5 S2000's and both Astons had RE050's on from the factory, they are OK but lose grip at 3mm and hate cold and/or wet frown
My BMW has done 35k miles on PSS's and they are great
I've had them on the Aston for a year
Softer side wall but a couple of extra psi sorts that

You need to work on your searching skills. wink

Haha, it would appear so! Priced up a pair this afternoon - £238.89ea seems reasonable as I can get them fitted for £20.

Shall report back with my thoughts smile

Cheers

And its a huge big fat blobby YES from me for PSS.

Does that £20 include full powder coating? wink

Just to confirm, I can only seem to find Run Flats online - I can imagine they are some what uncomfortable as a result?

Wow, I didn't even know that Michelin did the PSS in runflat! But just to confirm - NO, THAT ISN'T THE TYRE THAT YOU WANT.

It would appear that Michelin are currently out of stock of that particular size of PSS (across Europe - Tyreleader come from Germany and Oponeo come from France). I suggest that you email Michelin UK and ask them when they will be getting another delivery.
