I applied Auto Glym paint renovator to my car,( not the Aston)after I washed the car,in order to erase a fresh bird deposit that had left a mark/ stain on the paint.
Although I was careful I have been left with several streaks / light scratches and the poo stain is still visible.
Any advice how I can rectify this....

We are always being asked this at work. ( own a bodyshop) we just run a mop over it with a green head and some fast cut. Then try to flog them paint protection ;-)

Like the thread "V8V Stolen" a gun would be a nice solution. Might able to then eat the bird for extra satisfaction

Thanks to you all for your advice.
I went over the marks today with some polish and this has helped cover the marks.
It's my wife's Crossfire so I feel a bit responsible, but it's not too bad now.
P.S. Just to clear up any misunderstanding I was not responsible for the deposit,(unlike some owners of a DB9 I am not incontinent),my responsibility was for the problems I caused when trying to remove the stain left by the deposit.
I hope that clears things up.

Brasso, damp sponge applicator and gentle pressure. Also G3 scratch remover has done the trick for me. Polish up and finish with a hard wax/protector. Keep some waterless cleaner in the car with a couple of microfibers and get it off quick.
