It's (reasonably) widely acknowledged both that the vehicle is stated to have a roof and that it has never been seen....
One suggestion is that there is both a removable hardtop and an optional soft top stored in the boot whilst another is that there is a folding canvas roof - suspicion is that none were ever completed but who knows......

wow !mind you, there are a lot of rare/classic cars that have more than doubled in the last 5 years

Was a show car. They even took deposits for build slots when it was at Geneva. Factory then got cold feet about selling enough of them, so caned the project. So yes it is a one off. As I understand it there is no roof of any sort. Which has never put me off coverting it. Just need the lottery win at the weekend!
