I recently bought an early DB9, nice low miles, lovely vehicle, which I love. I live overseas and the purchase price here would be double the uk price. I will probably only use the car once or twice a year and am having second thoughts about it sitting there. IF there was a reasonable probability that values for these cars would stay pretty stable...I would keep the car....if values are likely to dive...I may be better using the money for something else. I understand that it is a guess, but curious as to what opinion is as to values. Interesting that the Ferrari/Porsche cars I have sold in the past have now gone stratospheric.

Can not understand why Aston Martin seem so reasonably priced compared to other brands? ( Notwithstanding obvious quirks)

keep it...but use it more than a couple of times a year. Such infrequent use will bring high bills to replace dried up seals, seized parts etc. and may damage its future value. With the new DB11 coming soon, and as the DB9 is the most beautiful contemporary car (in my opinion), the only way will be up....

I doubt you would get many dried or seized parts if its stored correctly. Early cars have been pretty stable in price if the mileage is reasonable. Only high milers seem to drop below magic numbers.

I think older well looked after low mileage cars have hit the bottom of the price curve. I bought a 54 plate 13k miler with full Aston sh a few months ago as I felt this was the case - they seem so undervalued compared to other cars despite being so beautiful.

Sadly, it is very difficult and expensive to keep flying back to the UK. I also need to work, which constantly gets in the way of being able to have fun. The old girl has extensive AM History and is still under AM (or should I say Carplan) warranty and a friend will do a few miles a month for me.
I also think the DB9 is such a beautiful design.
It's not all about the money, but perhaps I should buy one out here ( Taiwan) one day. I would use the car almost daily. Double the cost, unfortunately.
I just had an A/c pipe replaced at AM ( not covered under warranty....but it's only 2k a year...swines) and some wiper blades.....a snip for 922 pounds. AM ownership...

I do worry that maybe my miles are not so low ! 39,000....maybe it's too late! The car has no faults and is wonderful.....so far. Another customer mesmerized by the DB9's beauty...still at the "in love" stage.
