Just had a ninth year service at a main dealer and they have not stamped my service book. That said I can't see where they would. It stops at 80,000/ 8th year. What happens now? Do I buy anoth service book? Any advice please. Thank you

You should be able to buy some extra pages from your dealer. I had to for my 2004 DB9. The dealer just inserted the new pages, which is easy enough as the book is held together with screws.

I think it was about 5 quid....

Thank you very much. I asked the main dealer if they had stamped the book before I left and he said 'oh yes the workshop would have, they are very thorough'! How about checking?
Thank you again. I'll ring them Monday morning

How can you charge a grand for a service then make the customer pay a fiver for a couple of bits of paper to stamp - dream on. Just fking give me the pages as part of the service you thieving bds.

And the bodywork check stamps too? Should these be done as part of the service?

On the basis they didn't drop the car back when they said they would (staff not talking to each other at the dealer) and they promised my car would be cleaned when I arrived and it was still filthy. How about the pages should be free? Calling them tomorrow, thanks chrw, I'll let u know if I struggle

I just had the indy that did the service stamp the next bit in the book and write next to it which service it was ....I have a stamp and vat receipt, which will do fine for my 10 year old car thats long out of warranty

Aston could learn something from Volvo, whos standard service book goes to 250,000 miles wink
