Scum caught keying Aston on dashcam

Just horrendous. And sends shivers down my spine as I've taken mine to that Tesco a number of times. Never again. And not that it makes any difference at all (or would render the act otherwise excusable) but I don't think the family spaces are up against that fence at all. Glad to see the police actively appealing on Facebook and really hope he gets a stiff punishment.

They think it's "cool" to damage other peoples property. It's like "sticking it to the man". Scrape beyond the layers of "justifications" and "excuses" its pure jealousy. Nothing more.

As an Aston owner and a road cyclist of >5000 miles per year I think it's only a matter of time before I get a dash cam/head cam. Sad but true. And before I get any abuse, no I don't cycle on the pavement and yes I do allow myself more than the 6 inches to the curb that about 2% of drivers think I deserve.

Whilst we're talking jealousy, the most bizarre thing I encounter on the bike is drivers (utter cocks) deliberately using their vehicle as a weapon against me simply because I am making better headway through rush hour traffic than they are. Simply astonishing.

Leaving your Aston Martin in A Tesco car park in Hackney is a bit like getting Jimmy Saville to do your baby sitting. Doesn't excuse the actions of this very twisted individual, though. I'd happily see his eyes removed and stuck up his bum so that he can see what an ahole looks like from the inside - I expect it'll be a similar view to that taken by the dash cam!

I have to agree with this. Why risk it, why tempt fate? Tesco deliver and corner shops sell milk (mostly in date). I don't think car park spaces have got any wider since the days of Minis (proper ones) and Austin 1100s so are now just not fit for purpose. Again, none of this excuses the actions of this lowlife but I don't think you can pretend the Aston is just a normal car and park it anywhere.

Some low-life keys a car, and some of the posts are basically : It's the owners fault because he probably parked in a bay he shouldn't, and it's the owners fault for daring to park a nice car in that area.

I have a Mi-Witness in mine, been in over a couple years. Excellent wide fielded of view and quality, plus it's piano black to match the interior.

Other dash cams are available of course!

I know a few people with expensive cars, without exception that have all taken risks and used their intelligence to achieve that goal. Even if its on finance the debt still has to be serviced. Financing a £200k car will run to £3 or 4k per month, so how does the fact that it may be on finance make its owners a lesser person?

That's not what I said.

I was looking for a reason why the chap would've keyed the car, other than the fact he was just jealous. It's because he has a pram (and a very expensive one at that) that I came to that conclusion. In no way was I condoning his actions, or blaming the Aston owner

Just an odd choice of phrase to use. Some have worked for it, some haven't, but I don't think they are to be 'looked up to' unless they are wonderful philanthropists or some-such.

I wasn't specifically referring to your post. However, I still don't see how it can be attributed to anything other than jealously. Do you think he would have keyed a Ford Fiesta because it was parked in a child bay?
