Hi guys! This is the powerfull sound of my 4.3L Aston Martin V8 Vantage after upgrade the entire exhaust system with RSC Tuning Sport headers and Sport cats and also with a Quicksilver Supert sport rear muffler plus a custom made center X pipe.
The car now sounds like a real race car and everybody turns when driving around town. The police also stoped me and reprend me because they thing Im were racing because of the high sound biggrin For this reason I buy also a new Quicksilver Sport rear muffler and don´t know if should change it to reduce noise level and problems with police or sell it and stay the car this way but at lasy I thing Im gonna keep the Super sport and sell it.
The car gained a good number of HP, I think could be about 54,5HP If we see what Bamford Rose say, with headers and Sport cats we can gain 41Hp, then the 3,5HP that also Bamford Rose said about the rear muffler gains plus the 10HP that the X Pipe could gain if we compare it with the center section of RSFabrication.
Anyway I installed also a pair of K&N Filters and a Lightweight Single mass flywheel with a dual disc ceramic clutch so the car is a lot off more reponsive and powerfull so the gain is a lot of more.
The ceramic clutch have a hard engagement even with the tune of the centralite of the Sportshift, its almost the same as the original but Im gona resurface it with Kevlar that supose to be as soft as the organic. Hope the damm vibrations of the original disapear at least :P

Here is the link to see the video, hope you enjoy it! smile

Incredible sound! Too much for me with my neighbours in London and early starts for work, most I could go for was the Quicksilver Sport back box, but I love yours. I might be tempted to try the Sport back box on yours, just to keep the local police happy, but ultimately go with what you love!

It does sound very good and would be great on a track car, but I couldn't live with that every day.

Fair point, I can't think of any circuits where it would pass the noise test

Thank you may friend! Yes Im gonna keep the Super sport at last, is you are interested in the sport I can sell it to you at half the price and also I have a pair of RSC tuning high flow air filters, both will make your car sound a little more loud and gain about 13,5HP If you are intersted PM! wink

I remember doing my first trackday in the Vantage in 2007 and it being borderline with the standard exhaust valves open frown

I have a remote fuse 22 for early morning getaways to the airport in "neighbor friendly" mode smile

Yes, but you have to dismount the front bumper and wheel archs, I mean is laborious but not impossible. You gain about 10HP and more exhaust sound.

Hey Andrew your car sound good too! If we have headers, Cats and Quiksilver mufflers and mine is Super Sport how can they sound so diferent? I don´t think that mine central X Pipe made that diference, your sounds more american muscle car. Your muffler is the Quicksilver Sport?

How are you going to gain ANY BHP by replacing the air filters? The air intakes are on a tortuous path to the injectors. Its even as if yo can get any 'Ram Air' effect at speed.

Because with cotton filters the engine can brathe better and more oxigen make the car gain HP, the original paper filters are very restrictive and dont let the car breathe well.

I would be surprised at 10bhp for filter change alone.
