Well, my lovely wife Frances and I had a great day out Harlech Country Show this Wednesday: there were brazen bulls, Snowdon sheep, cocky cockerels, giant rampant rabbits. 1m long leeks, 80cm crazy carrots and onions to size of buoys. Burly young Welshmen lumberjacks, swinging axes racing to chop down trees. No maidens doing any activities though...

Importantly there was a tractor show biggrin

One of my best friend's parents has a house in Harlech. Have been there many times on (drinking, disguised as...)mountain biking weekends. Great place, and looks like you got some (rarely seen) sunshine!

Hope all well with you guys.

Hi Adam, great times in Harlech, I guessed there would be some fellow PHer's who had been to this lovely area biggrin
Mountain biking: in Dolgellau maybe (on the red bull run)? I used to ride there, awesome fun!
Hope Romnie is doing well!? What is the timing now? Will you get a pink ticket for the Highland Hoon?

Yes you must mate - I'm often back in that lovely neck of the woods stretching her legs. Used to sell ice cream on Harlech beach as my summer holiday job! Drop me an e-mail next time and we'll arrange to have an ice cream! yum
