New tubi rear exhaust fitted - sounds amazing

Just had a new Tubi rear exhaust fitted and it sounds amazing. Not too loud, doesn't change the original V8 burble too much. Lovely bit of crackle and pop when lifting off the accelerator. That does mean I have the original rear exhaust for sale if anyone wants it (don't know if there is a market for them) £200 if people interested. Not even sure if you allowed to sell on here ??

Might be 200 cell race cats and air box next........:-)

It's a 4.3. Original sound was fab, but we always want more....

I have what I am pretty sure is the 1st Tubi for a V8V fitted to my car. They get much better with age. More crackle on the overrun. More aggressive sound. They also get a bit louder so I'd hold on the cats...

I *think* the rear box mounts on the 4.3 and 4.7 are the same so the same exhaust may well work OK on both cars.

I have a custom made back box on my 4.7 and straight through cat pipes - epic !!!!

How does that sound ? Do you get any resonance whilst driving at all. Doesnt it look nice all shiny and silver

Superb sound - to my ears anyway. Deep V8 rumble on acceleration, nice crackles on the overrun but when cruising it's very civilised, no resonance or droning - I'm very happy with the set up
