V8 Vantage 9 yr service cost
Discussion
Just had mine done at BR, they charge £575 for nine year service. However mine needed a new lower wishbone arm too and had slipped a service over the years so did a few extra bits.

I'm in the same boat as my 90k service is due. I've done a bit of ringing around and prices vary quite a lot. Make sure you're comparing like for like though, mainly in terms of with or without VAT. BR is £575+VAT, Bridge Mill is £555 inclusive of VAT. Dealers vary between £745 and £890 inc VAT.
There also seemed to be a difference of opinion on whether some items should be changed such as air filter and brake fluid.
Other things to factor in are time and fuel getting there and back and whether or not you need a courtesy car.
Oh also you'll probably need an extra page in the service booklet, I need to order one of these myself.

I don't thinks its worth paying the Stealers the higher prices for services, when all the independents are well priced and have all the knowledge etc.

Yes David Appleby is fairly close to South Bucks but it will still take over 2 hours to get there and back (assuming a courtesy car is included in the price).
I would prefer a good independent rather than pay main dealer prices but there doesn't seem to be a great choice close to South Bucks. Chiltern Motors in Bovingdon is an approved AM service centre and their prices aren't like the independents; they charge a lot more than £555 inc vat for a 9 year service.

So we could say on average;
Indies are usually around £550-700
Dealers are around £850-1100
All just down to labour rate, dependent on if its a luxury city centre showroom with free ice cream and chocolate versus an industrial estate on the outskirts of town, and a cup of coffee if you are lucky

Had a letter/ card from Statestones Amersham recently. From memory it was advertising V8Vantage servicing from £650.
thats really good, no doubt they realise some service business is better than none, if many owners of older cars are going outside the dealer the networkGassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
