Hi all
Any tips on what is best for winter?
Reading through the archives there is no winter tyre for the V12S roadster wheel?
Last year I had a set of winter tyres on my V8 they were great. It's been suggested that I buy a set of V8 wheels and use them. Is that what most do?
Cheers

graham, coincidentally I have just posted a thread about winter tyres for a V8 vantage. Could you please advise, did you run winter tyres on the OEM Aston wheels (as in, do a tyre swap)? Or did you purchase a stand alone set of alloys for your winter tyres?

I'm trying to gauge if 18" wheels would be feasible but am not familiar with AM's, calliper clearances etc.

Hi there
I had 19 V spoke S wheels on my 2014 V8 Vantage.
I switched to continental winter tyres and found them great. I switched back to Summer tyres a week to early and nearly paid the price! I found out about Michelin after they seem to be the best.
Not sure where you are but I used a company called Leka in Cheshunt. If you buy the tyres from him and local they switch at your home.

Many thanks for the advice. So sounds like you changed the tyres over rather than the wheels as well. I will explore further but good info re conti vs Michelin. Thanks

Won't it be the same tyre as used by the coupe V12VS? Sure they do them as a I read a review with them on.

Doesn't make sense not to have a tyre for the Roadster.
