So, looking at the engine it's an entirely different induction system when compared to the 1-77 block (http://www.enginetechnologyinternational.com/downloads/Aston_Martin.pdf)

So, 1-77 had four throttles and looking at the photo above Vulcan has two. Although Cosworth built the 1-77 engine and Prodrive the Vulcan engine one would expect a greater degree of commonality?
Also, the Vulcan induction system looks so tall I wonder if any of it could be reused in regular production cars?

Inspired LBS!! A full beard is the only thing I'm permitted to grow whilst at work, Queens Royal Naval Regulations and all that. I've tried on several occasions to covertly grow whilst I've been on deployment, but the moment I step over the homeland threshold, my darling wife is there to greet me with a "if you think you're coming anywhere near me with that, you've got another thing coming" look on her face. Shame, I quite enjoy sporting one.Anyway, I like the Vulcan.
