Hi All,

After having a little play with my Satnav yesterday (which I am told is from a Volvo - and a little behind the times) I wondered if the new 'S' models (Vantage etc..) have an updated Satnav system ? If its changed - are the differences documented anywhere ?

Thanks ...

What year is yours? The latest disc does make a lot of difference - its still pretty basic (and slow putting destinations in), but it gets the job done.

Oh, and my oh my is the robot lady stern.. Its like being told off by a Victorian School teacher biggrin

Mine the same.Richard Hammond said on Top Gear that she sounded like "A very butch lesbian warder in a woman's prison". I just use my TomTom.

If you have a Volvo nav system in your Astom, either (3) DVD or HDD, you can update it easily.

The newest Volvo Navigation Discs (MMM+) 2015 are available on the usable places online. Concerns the HDD version, so a 2xDVD set that loads on your Navi's HDD.

For the DVD MMM/P2001 version, according to the volvo nav website, map 31428072 has been superseded by the 2015 version, Volvo Part number 31470159

Interesting, there's a couple of original copies on EBay currently for about £150 delivered (or at least they claim to be original).

How much are the original Aston ones then? Only seen genuine second hand ones.

The 2014 ones include full postcode search, that's what I'm currently using - don't think anyone has tried the 2015 ones but they should have everything the 2014 ones have with possibly some additional features/fixes.

Lol, yes, it comes with 3 discs that covers most of europe. Beware though, most places online sell copies - if you're going to that you may as well burn one yourself rather than give someone 30quid to do it for you!

Brand new set of genuines ordered..... £139.44 all in delivered. I'll take that as a good investment for an Aston!
Thanks for your help guys. I'll post up how I get on with them.
