Are these the latest United Kingdom maps and the ones with postcode function do you know?
Yes, they have 6 digit postcode search. If you search online, you can find them well under £100.

I have a set of 2015 disks for the Volvo HDD satnav in my car. How long will it take to update? The instructions suggest up to four hours! eek

OK, well the answer is 190 minutes. It works refreshingly well. You put in the disc and it starts, telling you it needs 180 minutes. At 80 minutes, it requests the second disc. When it's done, you reinsert the first disc. The best part is that it can be stopped and resumed from where it left off as many times as you like. You don't need to leave it on the charger in the garage. Mine completed the update over four drives around town int he last two days.

Not sure I can see any difference yet though!
