Just buy a V12V S, its everything the V12V is, and more. A lot of car for the money! Although, they are beginning to disappear off the website now, so maybe the shortage of the earlier car is knocking on to increased demand for the S?
If you want a V12 Vantage you want a V12 Vantage. I was not interested in the V12s . Dingle Dell said:
Damn - all this interest in the V12's isn't doing me any favours as the values appear too firm for my liking. It's all right for you lot who are lucky enough to own one, but for the rest of us who are trying to afford one it's another story!
I was like you - kept waiting. Then I noticed a main dealer had a 2009 and a 2012 at the same time, with precious little difference in price. So I rationalized that since interest rates and the stock market weren't great, I'd put some money into V12V. Who knows, over the next years it could outperform the stock market....How's that for man math?

Be interesting to see how many people have run up about yours since you bought it. It's been on their website all week
That's a good point actually! There were three people who were supposed to call back the day I went to see it and someone called while I was paying the deposit...I'll ask the dealer tomorrow how much interest they've had since...Dingle Dell said:

I nearly gave up until the right one came along from nowhere - gotta keep checking! What's your budget? As Nijius mentioned in a thread, another has appeared for sale.

Having just spoken to the dealer (for my soon to be ready in 20 hours V12V) he told me that there was plenty of interest in the car after I put my deposit down. In fact one customer was adamant he could buy my car as it was parked outside...
It really begs the question, as another person mentioned on another thread, why the dealers aren't selling them for higher prices...

Firstly, I wish we could get back to how good the V12V is to drive, not how much they cost. Risks turning into the Ferrari forum...
But if we're talking values... It wouldn't look good if the old model prices started to overlap the current model that Aston are still selling new.
Good point actually, you think there's some kind of unofficial rule from head office not to price them higher? But if we're talking values... It wouldn't look good if the old model prices started to overlap the current model that Aston are still selling new.
Do Ferrari drivers even drive their cars...can't add more than 1k miles a year just in case they lose value....
Believe me, this is gonna be my daily driver - I'm gonna be enjoying it and using it to its full!

So maybe the factory are subsiding dealers on sales of used V12V? When the S ceases to be produced next year we should see prices double!
Could be the case - but this shouldn't stop the private market. From my perspective, I haven't seen any listed privately. I suppose the approach is - if you sell privately, price according to what we know - a) They go in a heart beat, b) The world agrees that this will be the last naturally aspirated V12 manual. Make of that what you will

To be honest if you look at other top cars the Aston is still behind on price.
imo it is just as special if not more so and I really do believe these cars are under priced ( or a bargain right now).
Exactly!! Aston Martin have built around 75,000 cars in the last 102 years. Around 90% of them are still on the road. They are built from the best materials/components, and are built to last. Anybody that has been around the factory, and seen what goes into building an Aston Martin, knows how cheap they are compared to other brands, especially steel bodied competitors!imo it is just as special if not more so and I really do believe these cars are under priced ( or a bargain right now).
