Just a quick up date.

Yesterday evening saw a very generous anonymous donation to my Virgin Money Giving Page which now just leaves us £38.26 short of 5K raised so far including the additional gift aid.

I just wanted to say thank you and cheekily ask if any one is feeling generous today to help me find that little extra to get past the next giant milestone.

Start saving your pocket money as the Auction is getting some great lots donated also……...thumbup

Ed - My good friends at Grange, Brentwood have offered a service for any Gaydon era car (presumably not one-77, Vulcan, etc.) as an auction prize.

Hope this helps the cause.

Happy to ask my friendly local dealer Ed - or you may prefer to approach directly. They just took over £300 off me for a small piece of chrome window trim but did the charitable thing and kindly fitted it for free. Shows some 'Ed' potential there biggrin

Just noticed we need 2 more willing punters to reach 350 cars registered.

Come on surely there's a couple of fence sitters out there to take pity on my miserable effort.

Hopefully I will be able to bring further news of a Golf and Spa mini break donation shortly for those that like playing around in the hot tub.

Thought for the day…………if everyone thats registered got a friend with an Aston to also register we could double our numbers……….thumbup

Its your Friday update.

We are currently up to 367 cars registered fyi with plenty of time in hand to get to 500.

I'm still currently working on donations to the auction and have kindly received this little package this week.

Bit of an odd one this but a Manchester based recording studio has donated 3 different opportunities.

Firstly we have the opportunity to take up to 8 youngsters along for a pop star party where the kids make their own pop video.

A second opportunity is for any adult with a talent to go along to have a photo shoot and 2 hour studio experience to produce a song, this is ideal for our Tony
the forum Fanny Magnet.

I'm sure he'll be superb with his rendition of Chas and Dave's "Gertcha"… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwvnkPRgo_E

The final lot is the same as above but for a youngster up to the age of 18 to do the same agenda.

Anyone fancy being famous………..music

This is ideal for those that like a bit a knee's up or good laugh and its certainly a great opportunity for the Mini Astonites to have some fun.

If any one wants to take pity on me I'm still accepting donations here: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Burghleyastonmarti...

Come on chaps, over 300 cars registered to attend and only 36 people have visited Ed's Just Giving page http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Burghleyastonmarti... - it's all for charity you know wink Come on how about bumping that to over 50 donations by the end of the weekend? yes
When I last rattled the charity tin on Ed's behalf two weekends ago there were 36 donations and I reckoned we could get that up to 50. We didn't hit that number but there was one stupendously generous donation of over a £1,000 - fantastic and thank you whoever you were! bow

Now two weekends on there are 47 donations so just three more generous people needed to hit the 50 but surely 60 would be great! It's only something like a tenner on the gate and the BBMF display has to be worth that alone so come on, pop any extra you think the day's worth into Ed's JustGiving Page yes Don't be shy wink
