Bumped and edited.

Its my birthday on Thursday and that is why I set my self a target of getting 400 cars registered for the Burghley House Event by the end of March.

Well here we are with 1 night left before my depression sets in for being even more aged and decrepit and we are sitting on 395 cars…………so can we find those missing 5 cars, come on surely we can if we try.

I don't expect any Birthday presents but I would be grateful of a small birthday donation to my Virgin Money grabbing page in aid of others less fortunate.

If you feeling kind hearted on the 31st please go to : http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Burghleyastonmarti... and make mine a happy birthday by helping others.

I know I'm a cheeky sod but you can't say I don't try…….biggrin

Come on its only 5 more needed then I'll shut up for a while ………promise.

Well as said only 3 more cars needed before midnight today to reach the magic 400.

Can you help find them for me and stop me turning into a Pumpkin come midnight.

Also he's the Charity link if anyone is feeling generous as its my Birthday.

http:/uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Burghleyastonmartin...

It would be great today to find another £226.68 including gift aid to bring the total up to £6000 pounds donated so far.

That would be a wonderful achievement considering the Event is in July…….thumbup

I am so confident of exceeding expectations one way or another for the wheels will front load £200 and hope to add more as the new lucky owner has their new 19 inch Vantage wheels. Currently on eBay hope to get 500 - 1000 pounds all money raised goes to charity. So if you are thinking of changing wheels let me or Ed know?

Great effort on 400+ cars and now £6000+ raised look forward to catching up at Burghley

Regards

Graham
Top man Graham what a star performer…...clap

We are catching up before Burghley old mate we are at Beaulieu first on the 10th of April.

I bet it involved talking about Bali and then in it dropped…...hehe

Anyway it was simple man maths surely after Bobby saved you a fortune on the holiday front which I hope others will batten onto and try him.

Thats Bobby at Dailaflight if anyones wondering what I'm on about as we've set up a special Aston owners number : 01732 592166.

Up to 418 now.

IF anybody's out there looking in with a Track or Race car I'd be very interested to hear from you please.

Also I'm looking for a few more GT12's to make a colourful stand alone display,we have 3 already but could still accommodate a splash more colour.

I'm all ears…….ears

Vantage Magazine who will be present on the day have just contacted me and kindly donated a years subscription to the magazine for our raffle or auction.

We are now at 430 Cars registered with plenty of room for more.

Neal from Nicholas Mee and Company has kindly donated the following, http://www.astonstore.co.uk/product/Aston_Martin_P...

All very posh don't you think, anyone for a cucumber sandwich.

Rob Sealey the MD of Sealey Power tools of Bury St Edmunds has very kindly acted upon my request and forwarded a 1100 watt variable speed Polisher to go in the R and A.

Another package arrived yesterday containing another AM Hand Bag,a OEM DB9 indoor car cover,a very smart AM Carbon fibre Pen and propelling Pencil set along
with other assorted items…..clap

Looks like we have the makings of a cracking R and A as our front bedroom is now starting to resemble Aladdin's Cave….rolleyes

Any dealers looking in please don't be shy, if you wish to donate please drop me a mail: edwind.cunningham@btinternet as your customers are more then likely to be there on the day and
I'm sure they would be pleased to hear their dealer of choice getting a mention.

Have you read through the thread as it might offer you a few answers.

We have a Burghley House register toward the top of the page that might interest you should you wish to register an Aston Martin if you wish to join in.

It's a large gathering of Aston Martin's which will take place at Burghley House,Stamford (PE8 3JY) with accompanying trade support and various displays etc.

There will also be a couple of fly pasts it would appear during the day involving Hurrican,Spitfire and even a visit from a Lancaster.

Aston Martin will themselves be there in attendance with a factory display as will other leading specialists.

Add to this the social aspect, the raffle and the auction and a few surprise features and attractions we have the makings of an enjoyable day which is all for the benefit of our chosen charities for this season.

I would have pm'd you but you don't take mail so if you have any further questions or indeed would like to register I would welcome your enquiry @ edwind.cunningham@btinternet.com

I hope that helps a little with your posting…..smile

On a roll now……..

Just had this evening a knock on the door from a Haymarket representative delivering a treasure trove of R and A donations.

2 Complete sets of Vantage Magazine, right from the get go along with a selection of motoring books and a framed signed print by Tim Layzell which was a front cover on an earlier
edition of the magazine.

On top of this they have provided a voucher for a years subscription to Vantage Magazine so clap to Jane and the staff at Dennis publishing.

I also want to say thank you for all the support both on the forum and behind the scenes from Haymarket,I'm sure we will all welcome Ollie and any of the team to Burghley.

Earlier in the day a parcel containing 2 remote DB6 Models arrive care of the team at Works Service, these will go to the raffle for any big kiddies amongst to win…….

I had one of these last time round and it proved a very popular addition to the raffle,I'll have to see if I can find any more...rolleyes

Thanks Justin for sorting these.

A final knock at the door this evening was from a former colleague who had kindly popped round to donate a Professional DeWalt 18 volt battery drill for the budding Barry Bucknell's among us to drool over.

This may go to the Auction as its an expensive bit of kit but a great purchase for the wife or partner as they can do there own odd jobs then without the need to go bothering you when you want to fiddle about in the car or watch the football.

Not a bad result for another round of pure Piracy, cheek and brass balls……...thumbup
