In all fairness if I had picked up the car I wouldn't have remained this silent on this thread: I would've kept you lot updated with photos of my day. Which is what will happen tomorrow.

While this has been a lot of fun going blow by blow on this thread - upon reflection I remember viewing my future 2012 V12V's ad on a Wednesday - thinking that the price was about the same as that of a 2009 also advertised and concluding that I should go for it because prices were not dropping. Arranged for a visit the next day - agreed on it and picked up the car on Monday - i.e. 0-to pickup in 6 days..
