Perhaps it is the picture but the proportions of the grill looks a bit weird to me. Not sure I will be rushing up to Bristol to see one - when they eventually open!

After my moaning about the front appearance of the DB10, I am happy if the DB11 front does look like this.
It reminds me of a Zagato model.

I suppose AM need to reshape the front grille now that it has become the same as every new Ford on the road!

I think the rear pillars on the roofline look very much XJ-S and could prevent the necessity of a rear wiper.

I like the looks of the car apart from the boot spoiler running into the taillights, but it will save on carbon taillamp inserts!

It is sleek, agressive and modern, and hopefully performs like it looks.

The "fussy" rear end adds an element of functional agressiveness to it, in the same way the Vulcan front and rear says "to hell with looks, this is function".

Urgh, the nose of that most recent photoshop is not attractive. Though I can see the similarity with the Zagato, which is attractive indeed.

All the photoshopists seem to be in agreement about the vents in the wing and the rear haunches.

Showed the pic to someone who saw it last week. It's very close, not perfect but close. The grille is spot on as are the rear haunches and roof etc. Only differences are the headlights and splitter.

It's probably fair to say that the video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slg6L4gm1aQ&sns... contains footage of DB11 - look closely........ Has AM dropped the ECU? (as many of us have done, so pardon the pun)

I'd expect it to have Keyless Go if it's using MB electronics....

Car thieves (I have only read you understand) use a signal scanner or OBD gadget, to ply their dishonest trade.

Is this still a risk for owners of Keyless Entry cars?

Interesting feedback Simon - thanks. I haven't seen it yet but from what you say and the various little pictures that pop up online, seems like it's going to be quite different from what we have today.

Chris.

I know someone who has been up to Gaydon to see it and was of the opinion that the DB11 has lost the theatre of the current cars but if you can get over that the new car is far, far ahead of our cars. Guess that is all down to the Merc tech but I hope it looks a lot better than those pictures. I am a great fan of the existing fascia and will be sad to see it go.

I never bought my Astons because they had great tech but hope that it also has a heads up display because it's the one thing I miss when driving it after the RRS or the BMW.

Autocar have again described the option of a manual gearbox for the DB11.

I've had HUDs in BMWs for ten years now. I would really like to have one in an Aston.
