not wanting to put out the fire, howeever another option is a parrot tablet which is fitted to my db9, which supports these:
https://www.parrotasteroid.com/asteroidmarket/

the camera needs to be USB and at the moment i am struggling to find a USB reversing camera...

The device works well - handy USB for phone, memory stick etc

It's more about streaming everything through the existing screen and utilising the car's sound system yes

Do they have something for the Garmin? I don't use the Garmin as I prefer Waze on my iphone.

I had the first customer install today by James and Len

They did an excellent job and were happy to chat to me and let me watch whilst they installed it.

So now my Iphone apps will run on the screen and I have a very neat reversing camera as well.

I can use Wase, or google maps or TomTom or watch a video, but not wilst driving obviously.

Thanks Guys, it was well worth the wait smile

Just had this fitted today. So far very happy. A good professional level of service on the fitting and the product is very good. I'll post more thoughts maybe a video once I've had more time to play with it.

Please do. Any info on installation, ease of use, integration into standard nav and radio etc. This looks like just what I've been looking for but it does need to fit into the Aston interior without looking DIY.

Cheers

Quick photo showing my forward facing camera. OEM look, can hardly see it. On closer inspection definitely need to paint the front and remove all the bugs...

I also had mine fitted and am very impressed. It replicates perfectly what the phone screen shows and is a very effective Nav upgrade.

I couldn't quite work out how to get mine to play music as yet but will do soon I'm sure! I had front and rear cameras already so they're hooked in and an iPod dock too that James has connected up too so all seems to be spot on.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to James.

He fitted mine today. I can confirm he can do Android phones (depending on which phone you have). I'm a little behind with the times and still use a Samsung s5. i'm extremely pleased with the system and would recommend it to anyone with an old volvo system.

I'll get some pics up tommorrow.

Can James just do a Bluetooth install to use the phone and play music and maybe have a aux input for a non ipod music player into the standard stereo with satnav screen display of the music player? Im not bothered about the cameras

His contact details are on this thread http://www.trackaphone.com/home/contact-us

I know it's stating the bleeding obvious but why not just ask him direct??

James has seriously moved the game on for all of us Volvo sat nav users.

I really wish James was closer, he does some great work.
I've had that project on the backburner for a while now. Even have a few Garmins sitting in a box waiting for me to get to them. Time constraints on the test car and having too many projects lined up on my own cars derailed it, though. Fun thing you can do with a Garmin is change the car icon...

This looks brilliant, just sent a message to James

What's the new functionality? Looks like a replacement screen?
