but you can just lock the phone in landscape and turn it however you like, surely?
Having just checked it seems iOS only locks in portrait or am I missing something
Interested too - looks really good!
Have you considered using the center tray itself to mount the phone in? An iphone/ipod could be permanently fixed in position with no wires showing at all, different bezels for different phones. I found this out when I dropped my iphone 6 (small size) into the tray and it got very stuck, almost a perfect fit. With the screen lock in landscape it would be ideal for the driver too.
£?

Hi nick,
Was looking at this a while ago, the nicest looking and easiest to use bracket I have seen recently.

Gents, thanks for all the tips, really appreciated
The mount will all be down to personal choice and what car you have. In test I am sliding my phone in the coin slot thingy which is ideal. No wires visible and nice and secure. Obviously this is fine in an auto. Manual DB or Vantage and a different solution is needed. IMHO I think this will be decided at time of fitment as we will all have a personal preference.

OK guys it is all finished and quite frankly superb. There are lots of options depending on how far you want to go but whilst James had our car in bits I've also had the front and rear cameras fitted. The brilliant thing about the front camera is it can actually looks down so gone are the days of bashing the carbon fibre front lip if you have one.
As I said in an earlier thread whatever Nav apps come along, they will all work.
The Nav fitted is £895 inc and the first 50 customers will get a very valuable extra thrown in
I've been on this forum for over 5 years now and this has been discussed so many times. We now have a solution for the pre Garmin Sat Nav
Here is the vid, sorry about the sunlight at the end.

Put me down as one of the fifty customers Nick!
How much for having front and rear cameras fitted as well?
Glad you are home in one piece How much for having front and rear cameras fitted as well?
Need to contact James on the above as its not that straight forward. Obviously once your car is in bits it makes life easier for the other stuff.

If you're using the Nav app on the screen, the instructions are coming through the car speakers.
I assume this therefore means you would be unable to listen to the radio whilst the Sat Nav is being used?
