Personally I've never had a problem contacting them.

It's a bit like Le Gavroche, you just have to know how to behave when requesting a table..

I managed to speak to Mike yesterday, and we have arranged for the work on my car to be completed.

I have just booked my car in for a service with them this morning and spoke to Mike a couple of times so all looks ok :-)
