Thanks to Rich @Redpants / @telum01 there is now a video and guide for fitting the Powerflex bushes. Really useful.

I think a full set of bushes works out around a smidge under £400.
If you’re competent at removing the arms at home (not too difficult if you have the right tools) I reckon getting the bushes pressed out and new ones pressed in where needed would be £100.
Vapour blasting probably £100.
4 wheel alignment £100.
If you do do it yourself, you’ll need to get the old bushes pressed out and then get the arms to a vapour blaster before installing the new ones. You could of course leave the old arms in their existing condition, which would be fine and a one stop at the local garage with the tools and skills to press the bushes out and in.
It’s a bit of faff and running around, but easily done in stages if you don’t fancy it all at once.

I was thinking the same thing. If you’re competent at removing the arms at home (not too difficult if you have the right tools) I reckon getting the bushes pressed out and new ones pressed in where needed would be £100.

I thought they where supposed to be less than that. I appreciate it’s more cost effective than arms but that seems like strong money for small bits of Polyurethane
20 years ago it was about 150 for a kit on a Honda Prelude, so this price isn't horrific and if the car is a keeper you'll probably only do it once.Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
