I went Manual too for reasons shared by others plus I liked more the design without the controls on the sides.
When at Gaydon I asked about losing the ugly seat controls with the manual seat option and was told you still get them, they just don't work.

I even asked if Q could produce something to cover them up.

IIRC, the entire CF centre console on GT12 was designed in a way that could accommodate losing the controls if you go for manual adjustment, but on GT8 which uses a standard Vantage centre section, they say the controls remain even if you go manual

mmm it is very odd! The Gt8 sold at Octane Collection was clearly without controls on the sides!

Another great video Tim. Very interesting to see the process from start to finish (and very jealous of your Andy Palmer final inspection plate!)

It was amazing having the opportunity to join Andy and talk about the car, he's a great guy and obviously it was a very exciting day for me.

Stunning GT8 colour combination look forward to the next video of collection and drive away early in 2017.
It does not matter how good it looks the sound and driving experience will only lift the occasion biggrin:

It's technically #120, what does a normal badge show?

My number plate for it is SH12 MEE with the 12 to represent it.

Well it says GT8 on the boot and I'm sure you could have some sill plaques that say 120 of 150 if you want them. I'd certainly keep the AP inspection plate then you know who to call should there be any minor teething problems .......

Good video but was anyone else saying "fella, take your fluorescent jacket off. Just looks uncomfortable and not practical"!

Saw all the GT8 videos for the first time yesterday morning and what a great journey! My two favorite parts (so far) are the revving up in the tunnel in episode 1, and then you start your GT8 for the first time at the end of production. True happiness! thumbup This makes me thinking of last year and the first time I saw and heard my DB9 inside the dealership. (This happens to be the first DB9 I ever have seen in real life.) Cold Aston Martin V12 with Larini exhaust system. biggrin

And I must say, your GT8 look stunning! bow

Oh my goodness - that looks good. Even better than the gulf specials on the GT12 in my opinion, although I do accept I am probably a bit biased about Flugplatz smile

I agree, thats the best looking one I have seen. Similar to Fords Nitrous blue, maybe without the pearlescence?
