Whilst I wouldn't want to see you and your great cars disappear from here the best way to sort a private group is on Faceache.

Much easier to sort dates etc rather than endless posts or emails trying to sort a hoon/get together.

That said you may need to sort the first get together on here so that you can then swap Faceache profile names etc.

If you do organise a get together on here I would love to come along for a nose.

I have created an email for GT owners, but may not the most efficient way to set up a community.

I thought Drivetribe may be of help. Just set up a Tribe there for now called "Aston Martin Specials"

I honestly can't tell. In photos and the right light flugplatz and frosted glass seem to look the same (in the flesh frosted glass should have flake).

But I think FFM is likely to be right in that being Flugplatz (in which case the second one I've seen in that colour). Looks great

Martin , your car looks great in Cinnabar - I also went with the standard grill and very pleased I did although it feels a little flimsy.
I think there a few Bucks based GT8's now ?
Mine is currently at Works being " tailored " so probably able to collect in a few weeks time.
Re the painting of the exposed carbon - I dimly recall someone at the Factory telling me that the quality of it was better than the carbon painted gloss black but my excitement levels at the time were high so might have got that wrong.
Filippo I tried to register for the Drivetrain and thought I had although it doesn't show me as a member - that said the tribe wont appear until 10 members are on there ?
Did anyone manage to find out how many are being sold in the UK ? Originally it was 40 from the 150 then a rumour it was a bit less but someone must know someone that knows ?

Yes, we need to be at least 10 registered there and post 1 more message on the Tribe for it to be visible/public! (We are in 5 so far since yesterday night)

Ive just joined as an "Enthusiast" not owner but will be bringing a pals GT8 to any meets.
He has no interest in anything like this but I will be demanding the keys and bring it along. His is one of the very last to be produced so March/April delivery.
It is also the most outrageous Q creation of all the 150 cars so I'm sure you guys will enjoy seeing it.

I think that might be AP's car.

It was one of the first cars every made and used by AM, but was wrapped in matte black until recently. I posted pictures of it a few pages back.

The black and white contrast looks fabulous, I agree. I'm yet to see a truly shocking colour scheme yet!
