Is the temp info displayed with the tyre pressure, the temp of the tyre or the air in the tyre?
Both! The outside temperature can be set in AMi III to be displayed at the bottom of all screens, plus the tyre pressure screen shows the temperature of each tyre.

Great, thanks. I really like that. It will come in useful on cold mornings.

I think this looks great. Best halo scheme in my view.

That looks lovely. Although I hate how the hue of the yellow accent they offer is so warm its almost orange!

Cheers Rob, will add this evening.

So far 30 GT8s were added to the registry, I am sure I am still missing some of yours (also not all of these 30 car on the registry have all the info, such as limited edition number etc.)

Please send your spec to AstonMartinGT.owners@gmail.com to be sure is added!

Also, the GT8 racer is back on the race track this weekend for the Bathurst12hrs!

Not long now, just a PDI and registration!

Blue and Orange vs Purple and Silver, can't wait to do a proper photoshoot with them side-by-side.
Fantastic advert here for AM paint quality issues
Look at the guy in the background (click on the photo to enlarge the image) with a Smart Repair mobile van, looks like he is fixing paint bubbles on the Vantage door below the door mirror arms or repairing the flaking paint on the arms themselves.
Classic Vantage paint issues.

Dr Palmer please take note
Paint Issues! They painted my car the wrong colour.

Looks like i won't be getting a GT8 after all.

I have read though your other thread and must confess after 22 pages am none the wiser as to what has been going on ?!
Who ordered the wrong colour , why did any subsequent agreement to sort suddenly vanish and why are you now taking AM to court ?
If a dealer mistake then why not say and what have they done to sort ?
Posting on PH before /whilst any resolution is attempted probably not the best idea - Im sure there are lots of facts missing and the vast majority of replies to your other thread ( not posted on here ) were from non AM posters which probably helped to confuse the situation even more -especially when AM then read them !
If all as it seems then I am very sorry to see that your dream has been ruined and good luck with whatever you decide to do -the wrong colour looked pretty good - but then some of your other posts imply you werent sure about keeping it anyway and indeed you are now talking about a GT4RS to preumably replace the GT4 that you didnt know if you were keeping when the GT8 arrived ?

May I ask what spec you ordered and what they actually produced?

Thank you

One side of the Nutshell.
£20k deposit taken up to a year ago.
Scintilla satin ordered.
Spec sheet sent correct by dealer.
Had coffee stain on at AML. Not read properly. By 5 people.
Painted in Titanium satin.
It kicked off.
Andy Palmer involved.
Resolution agreed and he would keep it rather than rejecting.
Tongue in cheek or otherwise post on here stated the car would be with a well known independent soon.
Coincidentally or not, AML withdrew offer and withdrew the car so he can't have it.
OP going legal.

A most disappointing tale.

I wonder why AML would change the 'resolution' decision.

Purely my speculation, but special edition car manufacturers obviously hate customers to immediately profit from their purchase by 'flipping'. Sometimes if lucky, the buyer might make more profit than the car maker, which must really make the manufacturer mad.

Because of this, I therefore wonder if there are special purchase contracts for limited editions, containing a clause whereby, if it is revealed before delivery, that the customer intends to sell the pre-order, or the car, then the manufacturer has the right to cancel that order?

Buyers contracts are technically with the retailer, but even so, maybe the contract still contains this type of wording.

If my supposition is correct, and a statement of intent to sell was published on PH, then legal action by the buyer may be unsuccessful.

Simply thoughts. I know little about this saga and am not a lawyer.

I know a chap who was on the list for an i8 in the early days of their production. He was stupidly openly saying he was going to flip it and even may have posted the fact. BMW refused to sell it to him and withdrew from the contract. There was a clause in his order form they invoked. Not sure if there is such a clause with the GT8?

Jon, As sensible as your speculation is , as far as I know no such contract exists.
I know when I visited the factory to see mine in build I had various conversations with a few people there and it was clear that anyone found flipping would find it difficult to buy another limited car.
That said I was also told that various pre purchase checking had been done although clearly judging from the amount of cars that have been for sale ( 4 or 5 out of around 40 UK sold )these checks werent that thorough or more likely simply that some people arent that bothered about Aston and will move onto another marque to flip - bubble burst dependent.
Its no different to what Porsche is experiencing with their so called halo cars and I would imagine took Aston by surprise.

I have to confess I haven't looked for it, but I'm told (by my dealer obviously!) that there is a clause that says if you resell within 12 months it has to be through a main dealer

I can't believe that the op half jokingly saying on ph he's going to flip through an independent would be the root cause of Andy Palmer saying they won't sell him the car. So I suspect there is a lot more to this than we've been told so far.

Just keeping my fingers crossed that it all works out amicably in the end

If AM are so against flipping how is this possible

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/a...

It is clearly advertised at way over list price.

I was told by JTC that the car is owned by them and the owner sold it to them as he wanted to make a quick profit!
