The GT8! Carbon fibre bodied £200K 440BHP 7 Speed V8.

Thanks Jon, yes it's my (slightly) subtle play on the Gulf colour scheme, thus combining two childhood fascinations; Aston Martins and Gulf cars (albeit it was more GT40s then)
I did get to do the factory tour, it was fantastic and very luckily my car was on the line the day we went and our guide made the time after the tour officially ended to take us back to see it closer up, so I feel very fortunate
Not really driven it yet, just the mile or so to take it in for ppf, so all I can say at the moment is that it's a somewhat different feel to the Rapide!

Thanks guys
Sorry at this stage I don't have any more pictures, I had to pick it up in a rush as it had to go for ppf and I had a flight to catch (I'm posting from the U.S.).
The colour is indeed frosted glass blue. It felt like a big gamble speccing it to start as no-one had seen anything larger than the small samples when I put my order in, but first impressions are that's it's worked very well
It's basically the blue version of morning frost White, huge amount of flake and sparkle in it. Also the colour is very light dependent, in sunlight (and dealer lights) you get that baby blue colour, in slightly darker conditions it's closer (but not quite) almost to flugplatz
Personal opinion is that it's a paint that suits the vantage far more than the larger db11. But that's just me

Seems that AM Lancaster have a Stratus / Kermit Halo scheme car up for sale

The one without the aero kit is incredibly rare (1-2?). I've only seen it wingless on a prototype as nearly everybody went for the full aero kit
Incredibly rare, but I cannot understand the point of not having the aero parts on a GT8.From a quick glance at the black car, I don't think it has any GT8 colour flashes either.
Fortunate therefore that it has a GT8 badge, otherwise it might be mistaken for a V8V, but perhaps that was the plan.

The GT8 does suit its own grill. i really like the look on GT8's
So the white car above is £50K less than the others we've seen sell in just a few days. ???
And has also now sold by the looks of it.So the white car above is £50K less than the others we've seen sell in just a few days. ???
It does seem someone has got a very good deal there - nice colour scheme, aero, titanium exhaust and manual gearbox all for less than any other advertised car.

A couple of GT8s have been spotted in Switzerland by instgram user @justinschmoeller
One finished in black and very interestingly without the aero kit! And info on this car?
It's also possible to see this new one in Switzerland at Aston Martin Safenwil which they specced themselves for the showroom - note absence of ironing board on the rear - as my dealer said, if the buyer wants a rear spoiler it can easily be retro-fitted.One finished in black and very interestingly without the aero kit! That grey and orange one above looks great. Much prefer the no wing look
This was at work today, think it's Viridian Green
Love the colour, but without the wing it looks a little like some dodgy tuner's mash-up! I know that sounds odd because there are some who would try & copy the GT8 with wings etc but at least the AM wing is authentic. Perhaps I'm just rambling! This was at work today, think it's Viridian Green

I see your point but personally I see it as more of a dodgy tuner look with a wing. I prefer the purer shape. Bit like a 911R vs a GT3RS Whilst the aerokit is surely primarily a question of personal preference, I guess there may be some people who in a perfect world would choose to go wingless but fear in doing so it would have a significant negative effect on resale, which I suspect in the short to medium term would be the case
Of course in 20 years time, who knows if the incredible rarity of having no wing might actually make those cars more valuable

Quite & whilst interest rates remain as they are, the Specials are a pretty safe investment. Clearly this isn't the only reason why people buy them & it's clear from this thread & watching Tim Burton's Schmee150 channel etc, owners are getting huge pleasure out their cars. As they get older however, I just hope that people still drive them instead of hiding them away.
