I imagine that now we've seen a UK GT12 for sale at a main Aston martin dealer for a cool half a million more GT8 buyers will be comfortable going heavier on spec.

If a GT12 is genuinely 500k today then a GT8 is a minimum £350k on delivery making £18K for magnesium wheels and £7K for titanium exhausts and £10K on exterior carbon the right thing to do.

That car in any colour at all is going to stop traffic and attract crowds.

Current thoughts.

Manual, Aero, titanium, centre locks(possibly lwt), carbon badges, half cage, black and grey alcantara.

Exposed carbon, carbon roof and mirrors and Q stripe on all...

Flame orange with white accents.




Diavola red with silver accents.




Acid green (Whole car) with white accents.




Allora with yellow accents.





Viridian, no accents.

The 4 GT12 cars in gulf colours are all different however they all paid the £11,995 for it as AM have to pay Gulf a royality.

I think morning frost blue with the carbon roof and morning frost white accents would be a wow car.

I did just look at it on the configurator and added carbon roof and mirrors.
It really suits it with your spec.

I think the fact that all options are totally free of charge (Take them out of your premium, realised or not) and to widen the gap from other Vantages all the quirky and not good value for money options should be considered. The CC Wings badge makes absolutely no sense whatsoever (looks or cost) but is an item of intrigue and desire so therefore must be added. I think the brave will be further rewarded for lightweight centre locks, carbon everything, titanium exhausts and expensive Q paint schemes.

Ive been waiting to see the Flugplatz GT12 being a Flugplatz fan however that just doesnt work

I think when you ask Q for stripes the result is very hit and miss.

The shade of orange is wrong for the main colour and the 45' angle of orange on the side of the rear valance looks very odd.

There sre some stunning GT12's out there but this is a miss for me.
