I am not going for the tech pack, I agree with you, the steering wheel looks cleaner without and I also think it suit more the character of the car to go without, particularly if you chose the 3 pedals (I think someone else here pointed this out and also received a similar feedback from AM Works).
On my side, I am still undecided re:
700w Audio vs standard (?)
CF mirrors vs leave it in AM Racing green (more tempeted by the latter)
Glass vs plexi on the console (?)

With your remaining choices I wouldn't lose too much sleep over the glass buttons. Very easy to replace afterwards if you don't like the plexi. The audio though is something you really need to decide on now
It's a personal choice but I'm going for premium - by all accounts the basic hi-if is poor
Reviews so far seem extremely positive. As expected... brilliant noise, extremely visceral, great turn in, great steering feel and more nimble than the GT12. The manual 6 speed box is being praised over the new 7 speed dogleg too.
All good!

Some of the reviews say the exhaust will be toned down a bit on full production models. Not sure whether that's a good or bad thing
Heard that from AM directly, but this change wasn't confirmed, yet.....as AM reads this forum, I'd say: please please please LEAVE THE EXHAUST NOTE AS IT IS!!!!!
Nice video and reviews! very good start
Aside excellent reviews on the Titanium exhaust, Top gear also mentioned a couple of things:
it defines the carbon door handles "(naff)" and the boot and bonnet carbon badges "(odd)" ..so if you look for more inputs for your spec. here it is
Other interesting things to notice, at least for me:
Steve said there are changes applied to the brake discs "uprated"?
And, another article ( http://www.forbes.com/sites/peterlyon/2016/06/14/t... ) suggests "Aston engineers ... added smoother more fluid synchros that provide quicker, more precise gear changes"
Are you guys familiar with these changes?

I have to second that. It sounds fing awesome! Only problem is that it will wake the whole street up, when i go for my early Sunday morning drives ...as AM reads this forum, I'd say: please please please LEAVE THE EXHAUST NOTE AS IT IS!!!!!
I think this article (http://www.completecar.ie/car-reviews/article/Aston_Martin/V8_Vantage/Vantage_GT8/987/6154/2016-Aston-Martin-Vantage-GT8-review.html
) is not accurate regarding the rubber, correct?
"Michelin's focused Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubber sized 225/35 ZR19 at the front and 295/30 ZR19 at the rear." The car we saw at the factory was definitely with 265 at the front and 325 on the rear, like the GT12
