Just a quick update...

I have asked if its possible to the get instruments/dash facia as fitted to Vanq Zagato and GT8 (pic below) so just awaiting feasibility and price from Q. It's unlikely I think, but it would work well with my interior.



I have also finally found real pictures of a Kermit Green Vantage in the far east! OK, it's a V8S not V12S and it has grey highlights but I really like it and the colour validates that the photoshopped pictures I made and posted earlier.





Just 2 months to wait now!

Just out of curiosity (and having not owned a vantage before) what's different about the zagato/gt8 dash?

Yeah agree - silver lipstick is a no-no with kermit! Ive gone for all CF and black low-lights, including the roof, rear panel and in-fills, strakes, mesh, DLO, vents and headlights, so hopefully will look a lot better.

With regard to the binnacle / dash, I had noticed on videos of the GT8 and Zatago (I have super eagle eyes!) that they have fitted a revised dark finish. It looks like they have just removed the chrome rings and gone for a more sporty font, so not that significant, but its the little bits that all add up!

It was the first thing I noticed when I sat in the GT8 at Gaydon.

Massive improvement on the clocks we all have.

Just FYI if I'm not mistaken the GT8/Zag dials are the same as those fitted to the 'new' Vanquish - and they are also used on the N430 (I think they call them 'contemporary style') so you SHOULD be able the factory to source for you.

I agree with the view that these area much nicer and 'stylish' than the normal version - certainly suits Vanquish.

Ahhh, indeed they are (just googled)! I didn't know it was fit to both N430 and normal Vanq too!

Thanks ever so much that will help and probably make it more reasonable / easy to get - you never know, it might even be std fit in the V12VS from MY17? Fingers crossed.

Cheers - nice to know there IS some benefit to being, as my wife calls it, an 'Aston Geek' (as in 'you're not geeking on that b***dy Aston forum again, are you?') - as well as being able to tell the sales staff the price of options off the top of one's head that they have to look up! And don't get me started on spotting colours - I like that game!

Having seen a Kermit green Vantage in the metal, that pic has definitely been tweaked. It's nowhere near as neon as that IRL.

Looks bloody stunning though, your V12VS will look utterly amazeballs.

Which Kermit Vantage was that then - the GT12 perhaps? That's the only one I am aware of in the UK so far...

Do you have any pictures that you could post or perhaps PM to me if posting is a no-go?

It was an GT8, inside the factory behind closed doors so no pics sadly. Not sure if it was a production car or not.

Cheers, you may already know but the Vantage GT is the same as the Vantage N430 - just sold under different names in the USA and UK, so makes sense your GT has it too.

Just waiting to hear back on this having chased again today, but was told that my production slot seems to have slipped from end July to early Oct but salesman did not know why!

Waiting for more info on why and if it can be brought back forward again...
