Sorry but that's nonsense.
Properly wrapped I very much doubt you'd be able to tell the difference.
Really?

Ive just had a small part of my car wrapped gloss black and it is obvious that its plastic and not paint frown

It has a grain to it that paint does not.

Another thing wrappers seem to struggle with is a cut line rather than wrapped to edge.

OK I have pictures of all 3 colours together, with Jet Black at the top to show contrast roof / tailgate decal colour.

No word on the cost of factory decals as yet, but I might just be getting close on a final combo now - Cayucos still winning. The only problem is the suggested California Poppy stitch isn't really as orange as I wanted.

A mate just got his dark blue vantage made up to look along the lines of a N430 and the finish is exquisite.
The red accents are metallic and look very much like paint wile the roof also looks like gloss black paint (maybe slightly orange peel up close).
I suppose it depends on where you get the work done.

Thinking of getting my roof done in gloss black.

What did you get wrapped?

Middle one ( montana),. It will always look bright unlike the cinnibar. Green is nice but not too sure.

Add in the black fibreglass bonnet vents and I would say Montana, I was preferring Cinnabar.

Get the black one! smile Nah, the one on the right with black contrast panels and wheels wins hands down out of those options. The other two would be much better on a Lambo - or a Kawasaki or a Laverda. I'm too much of a traditionalist for this lark.........

Do they offer gloss black wheels now?

Agree,,with Satin black lightweight wheels, [can you have matching brake calipers?], carbon exterior pack, black window surrounds, and black roof/tailgate..

I personally think matching calipers are taking it too far. The orange and CF alone is enough I think.

If it were me I'd leave the annodised calipers as is (or get them retro sprayed black) and leave it there.

Adam, here's mine with slightly less yellow. I think the graphite wheels would look good on a grey car.

That's a wonderful car... do you have spacers installed?

Thanks. No spacers. 2015MY V12VS. Standard car plus carbon / black everything, special order paint (Ferrari Nero Daytona), lightweight wheels and seats. Plus no model badges to save weight. smile

Gloss black wheels are not a std offering so Im asking Q for prices on the std wheels and Zagato wheels both in Gloss. Getting the dealer to paint them for sensible money is the backup plan. The satin black lightweights are very nice indeed, but are £3795 and I think perhaps overdone now on V12VS, so I am thinking the other two will be more unique.

Yeah, that would be a result indeed, I get Montana and you get Cinnabar - so both bases covered! - Do it!!! thumbup

I agree matching calipers are too much. I'm thinking of going with the free anodised calipers as it will match the internal colour scheme I have in mind (A mix of Pure Black leather, pure black Alcantara seat inners, dash and roof outer, with obsidian (ie anodised equivalent) seat/door inserts, steering wheel, gear gaiter and roof inner.

The full spectrum of Calipers below. The top one is the free anodised, the others are the factory £995 options.

The green looks like it came from a Kawasaki, the Orange like Donald Trumps tan. The one on the right is the classiest amd would go great with the Califorian Poppy stitching.

I do have a 2014MY V12VS. And for mine the wheels do not fill the wheel arches quite well.
Perhaps it's the angle the picture is taken.

Must be the picture. Tyres are the original P Zero Corsas. Still good after 11,000 miles. Must try harder.

The top of the windscreen surround where it meets the roof (Roadster) to give me the continuous dark look of the coupe with the black roof.

It works perfectly but I guess you are right and I will probably get another wrapper to do it again.

Ive just discovered these guys on my doorstep...
